Alum Root 'Crimson Curls' (aka Heuchera 'Crimson Curls')

  • Location:

I am native of North America
  • Looks:

I have ruby coloured lobed foliage that will deepen ind direct sun. As my name suggests I have curly ended leaves, a bit like Kale. My delicate white flowers arrive on spikes above my mound of foliage
  • Height:

I can grow up to 50cm with a similar spread
  • Environment:

I do well in partial sun and also in more shady spots. I look great on mass in borders or a great companion to more ornamental plants in pots
  • Flowers:

My flowers arrive in spring and are likely to come back for a second flourish towards the end of summer. They are delicate and white and appear on long spikes
  • Grooming:

Dead head my faded flower spikes and remove any tatty leaves as required
  • Life Span:

I can last for many years and my foliage will be fantastic all year round
  • Feeding:

Keep me moist especially if you plant me in a pot
  • Fact:

To get the most out of my leaf colouration plant me where i will get afternoon shade
