Perennial

Coral Bells (aka Heuchera)

  • Location:

I am native of North America
  • Looks:

My foliage comes in some amazing colours and during summer I also give a cloud of flowers
  • Height:

30cm most of the year, but twice this height when I'm in flower
  • Environment:

Pots, beds or border.. I like full sun or partial shade. Take care in hot sun as I may burn
  • Flowers:

I will give a display every year from May onwards. My flowers arrive on tall spikes about my clump forming leaves
  • Grooming:

Deadhead my flowers as they fade and remove any tatty foliage
  • Life Span:

I can last for quite a few years although I may start looking tired after 3 or 4
  • Feeding:

No need to water me in the winter months
  • Fact:

Put me in a position where I will get afternoon shade to make the most of my leaf colouration
