Peperomia 'Rosso' (aka Peperomia caperata 'Rosso')

  • Location:

I originate in the Amazon region of South America, preferably under trees where it's warm and shady.
  • Looks:

I have ridged dark green leaves with red undersides
  • Height:

I will only reach a height of 10-12
  • Environment:

I like to be warm all year round. I like a semi shaded spot without direct sun.
  • Flowers:

I throw up long tendrils like rats tails which are very decorative.
  • Grooming:

Pull off dry or discoloured leaves. I am easy to propogate and will form roots on leaf cuttings in 3-6 weeks.
  • Life Span:

I can live a long time if looked after carefully, I am a slow growing plant.
  • Feeding:

Let me dry out between watering but never let me get too dry for long spells.
  • Fact:

Peperomia is a member of a large family of some 500 ornamental foliage plants, and is related to pepper.
