Thyme (aka Thymus Vulgaris 'Citriodorus' (Archer's Gold))

  • Location:

I grow wild in the hills of the Mediterranean region
  • Looks:

I am a low growing evergreen shrub with green, yellow leaves.
  • Height:

I can grow up to 30cm tall with a similar spread
  • Environment:

Pots, beds and borders. Great for ground coverage or edging. I thrive in full sun but don't mind partial shade.
  • Flowers:

I have small pink flowers which appear from June to August.
  • Grooming:

After I flower prune me lightly.
  • Life Span:

I will be green all year round and will live a long time.
  • Feeding:

Don't water me too much as I'm drought tolerant.
  • Fact:

I contain a concentration of oils that make me a favourite ingredient in aromatherapy.
