Wax Plant (aka Hoya australis)

  • Location:

I am an Australian native typically found in rainforest margins and rocky areas
  • Looks:

I have thick waxy looking round shaped leaves and white star-like flowers
  • Height:

I can grow up to 4 metres
  • Environment:

I like a light position with no direct sunlight. I don't like the cold, especially frosts. I will tolerate a little drought period. Once you find the right spot for me in your home, leave me there, i'm more likely to flower that way
  • Flowers:

I have clusters of star shaped flowers that are beautifully geometric and aromatic
  • Grooming:

I need little pruning in my youth, however as I age this may help to rejuvenate my vines
  • Life Span:

I will last a really long time
  • Feeding:

    Don't over water me
  • Fact:

My flowers are beautifully scented, so when they arrive they will bring a fresh fragrance to any room
